I listen carefully to what God the Lord is saying, for he speaks peace to his faithful people.  Psalm 85:8

Learn to hide yourself away with me, not only when you’re alone but also in the company of others.  In doing so, you will be oblivious to their reactions to you.  You will only know the joy of my still, small voice.  No longer will you be obsessed with the acceptance of friends and family.  Instead, your spirit will soar in that other worldly place, the realm where the things of earth are dull in comparison.  Live in the refuge of my love and don’t leave the place where My Spirit meets yours for the sake of anyone.  Not anyone.

Be careful not to join your soul to another who lives without the discernment made available by my Spirit.  If you do so indiscriminately, you risk aligning with someone who lives outside of a God-connection.  That includes many of my own children.  Few have learned to abide in me and you can be assured that their perspective on many things will be skewed.  Their input will be unreliable.  You will suffer if you rely, without question, on their judgment.  Becoming dependent on such a person puts you in jeopardy.

Don’t forget that spiritual unity that is of a Christ-kind can only exist when two people abide in me and I in them.  I have done much to teach you about what real unity is in the body of Christ.  You’ve suffered in the absence of it and soared in the company of like-minded disciples.  Raise your standards and walk wisely.  Know this, a real litmus test is whether you can pray with them and feel like you are at home with Me.

In your heart, honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.  I Peter 3:15

Nothing defeats evil faster than My love-sick bride.  Her passionate words and vehement defense of My character leaves no room for discordant words from My foes.  Do not be afraid to say, ‘Please don’t say that of the One I love!’  Remind the one who disparages my reputation of who I am and whose you are.

I defend you daily from the insults and accusations of your accuser.  You see, we are both fighting for the one we love.

 

“Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land.”  Deuteronomy 23:30

Let’s talk about this big thing that overwhelms you; that thing you bring before me nearly every hour of the day.  I know you wish it weren’t there, that I’d reach out with a sweeping wave of my hand and remove it.  You are frustrated that I’m not doing it when all power is mine.

I told my people when they were traveling through the wilderness to Canaan, “Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land.”  My plan is for each of my children to become mighty in wisdom, strong in muscle strength, and fluent about the ways of the kingdom.  Slaying one giant at a time will build into your life the things which are critical for your future.  Never underestimate what is gained when you walk with me and see a progress that characterized by baby steps.

I am not stingy nor is my power limited.  It is My love that restrains my hand from completely rescuing you so that I can do what is ultimately best on your behalf.  I know that this mountain makes you tremble, even despair.  But by dealing with your fear, choosing to stand in faith, you are being transformed into a champion.  When you can’t see your progress, I can.  And I have!  You have already changed more than you know.

GOD’S WISDOM ~ THE SECRET OF A KING

The secret of your success today does not reside in clever planning. The secret was revealed by a king. King David. “I do not involve myself in great matters, or in things too difficult of me. Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; like a weaned child rests against his mother.” Psalm 131

Resting in me is underrated. A rested and quieted soul is ready always to hear my voice. And in matters where it’s easy for you to fail, my voice is your assurance of victory. Be still. Draw close. Listen.  Do something different from the rest of the world where noise and distraction dull good judgment and righteous choices.

You will never outgrow the needs of a child who needs his Father for everything.

Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous. Psalm 118:14

Will you do what King David did?  He lived in the future tense.  He said, I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart; I will tell of all Thy wonders.  I will be glad and exult in Thee; I will sing praise to Thy name, O most High.”  Psalm 9

The life of faith is to confidently anticipate My grace for what you will need today.  Later, when the pressure of making poor choices overwhelms you, I will be there.  My voice will be heard in the stillness to help you endure.  So declare Psalm 9 now.  Ahead of the battle.  Ahead of My provision.  I hold Myself responsible to meet your needs.

 

YOU’VE ONLY BEGUN

I will give you the treasures of darkness and riches from secret places, so that you may know that I, Yahweh, the God of Israel call you by your name.  Isaiah 45:3

I see your faithfulness, how you have made your home in Me.  Though the depth of your experiences may not be apparent to the ones who claim to know you so well, I see how you have abandoned yourself to my Spirit.  I am flooding you with My presence, pouring out my blessings upon you, though it is not always evident outwardly.  The gifts I give begin on the inside when I take Your spirit to a place of joy that you have never known before.  I am the only One who can take you to a place where your tongue falters.

Do you not remember that I have promised you the treasures of the darkness?  According to your need, is My supply.  According to your searching, is My revelation.  Oh, that you would know that you have hardly begun to see what I am planning to show you.

Alive To Me

Walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.  Ephesians 5:2

Be diligent to explore and experience my death and resurrection.  Enter in fully to the journey of my crucifixion, burial, and victory over death.  Why?  Because in any ways this earth has defined you, you are now dead to them and alive to me.

I created every part of you.  All your gifts.  All your bents.  Though people may have ridiculed and rejected a part of who you are, I have celebrated it.  You are my masterpiece and I indwell you.  All of you.

To be fully alive to me is to allow me to live through every bent of my design.  This will take courage but there is no fear when you learn to live in my love.  You may not always be popular but you will be filled with my glory if you submit your whole self to me in obedience.  This will bring you joy unspeakable and breed a confidence no man can shake.  Step out of the tomb into the light of resurrection life.

What is it that pulls at your heart today?  Whatever it is will most likely be forgotten down the road.  All that will be remembered are my touches upon you in your time of need.  Never allow anything other my Word to be written deeply in you.  People around you will be ambitious with their pen, aggressive with their mouth.  Words will be plentiful but not life-giving.  You have learned this the hard way.  You’ve clung to false words and ended up in the desert because of it.  My words bring life and joy.  My touch brings healing.  My truths bring relief.  My correction brings security.  My teaching brings confidence.  Can you not see the difference between good and bad words now?

This is the time to walk in maturity, not tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine, every word that proceeds out of the mouth of men.

GIVE UP WHAT’S GOOD FOR WHAT’S BEST

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.  Hebrews 12:1

Learn to obey Me in difficult matters.  This will result in My blessing being poured out upon your life.  Allow Me to prune everything that holds you back.  Though there are losses, what you gain will outweigh the sacrifices.

Obedience puts you out of step with a church that is falling away in the great deception.  You make decisions others don’t understand.  When they say something is acceptable, you walk away.  When they don’t give something a second thought, you abstain.  With the growing darkness, it will be natural to cling to anything that numbs out the pain but that will also dull your appetite for Me.  Stay awake.  Cling to Me as things decline.

Salvation will come and You will finally see My face and step into your inheritance.  Child, the goal is in sight.  As you run the race today, I am preparing your eternity.  It’s that close.

 

No Longer Refused

All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.  John 6:37

Cast out ~ To expel a person from society, to banish from a family

You know the pain of reaching out and of being refused; extending your arms only to be turned away.  Don’t allow the memories of that to keep you from experiencing Me.  I heal all former rejections, every single one.  No widow need be without a Husband.  No orphan without a Father.  No spouse without a Lover.

When you live in Me and dare to believe that all I have and all I am is yours, you will find a joy unspeakable.  I won’t turn My back on you when you seek Me.  If you come, I will be found.   If you reach, I will embrace.  So need Me courageously.  I won’t disappoint you.  Trust Me even though it may feel reckless when weighed against past experience.  I’m different.  I won’t cast you out.
